Shipley’s Statement on Solidarity and Support

Kaysville, Utah USA – June 3, 2020 — Shipley Associates confirms its long-standing commitment to diversity, inclusion and equality. We stand against violence and injustice toward any group or individual. We encourage all people, throughout the world, to be civil and respectful of all regardless of race, religion, or ethnicity.

Shipley supports the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) in its efforts to respect and further diversity and inclusion:

“APMP stands in solidarity against racism and violence of any kind. We condemn all acts of cruelty, intolerance, and discrimination. When one member of our association hurts – we all hurt. We are unwavering and steadfast in our support of justice for Black families and Black lives. It is no longer enough not to be racist – we need to be ANTI-RACIST.  APMP is committed to fostering a culture that deeply values and respects diversity and inclusion.

Our thoughts remain with our members and partners throughout the nation, and the world, as we mourn and navigate through this hurtful and troubling time. In the weeks to come, APMP’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee will work to identify ways that we can further support our diverse membership and ensure we all feel included in and represented by APMP. We believe that through inclusion and diversity coupled with conversation and understanding, change can and will happen, and it is more important now than ever.”
